While working as an assistant at Picrow (Transparent, Mozart in the Jungle), I produced My America, a web series directed by Anna Jones (Independent Talent) and Asaad Kelada (Dharma and Greg, Who’s the Boss). Written by J.S. Davall and Anna Jones,  the six-part web series was released one-a-day leading up to the November 8 election. It tells the story of Lucian, a black artist and Uber-driver, and Carmine, a retired white police officer visiting his son in Los Angeles. Over the course of a week, each man, seemingly so different, experiences a parallel journey confronting personal and political challenges amidst the contrasting value systems of today’s America.

The series starred Jamel Davall (Law and Order, Ray Donovan), Carmen Argenziano (The Godfather: Part II, Stand and Deliver), Elizabeth Sung (Joy Luck Club, Memoirs of a Geisha, Shameless, Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Peter Macon (Orville, Dexter, Bosch).

My America was featured in Variety, The Islington Gazette, Entity Magazine, Stareable, The Yale Daily News, and The Cambridge Student. It showed at festivals including the LA Film Festival, Unrestricted View Film Festival, Seriesfest, Pilot Light, Hollyshorts, New Haven International Film Festival, Brooklyn Web Fest, and Digital Creators UK.
